How it works

The Sensor:

Levno monitors the level of feed in your tank or silo with a radar sensor. This is installed on the top of the tank or silo, allowing it to read what's inside 24/7. This information is sent to the transceiver and then to your dashboard.

The Transceiver:

The transceiver receives data back from the sensor and transmits it to the cloud for display in your Levno dashboard. From your dashboard you can view your live data and set alerts. You can receive alerts via text, email or in-app push notification.

The App:

The easy to use mobile and desktop app allows you to monitor and manage your milk, water and fuel on the go, 24/7.

When will the feed product be available?

We are currently completely beta testing of our feed product in farm trials to make sure it has the highest accuracy. We currently hope to release to market at the end of 2025. Register your interest on our contact form to make sure you are the first to know upon launch!

How long before I can be up and running?

Installs are usually done within 10 working days, with data validated and live within 24 hours.

How do I know if my data is accurate?

Levno’s telemetry removes the risk of manual reading errors, and our system includes checks to ensure your data stays accurate.

Do I need Wi-Fi or cellphone coverage?

You don’t need Wi-Fi. Levno connects through cell coverage, which reaches most areas across New Zealand.

What does installation involve and do I need to do it myself?

No you don’t, you can leave the tools for another job! At Levno we have a team of specialist Field Technicians that manage the installation work. An install takes approx. 1 hour and there’s no interruption to your farming operations.

What sort of support does Levno provide?

Levno provides 24/7 support, along with free servicing, maintenance, and technician installs.

IECEx certified technology and ISO accreditation

At Levno we take health and safety very seriously. We have a strong track record in this area and proven ability to work with other organisations’ policies and processes.
 
Our expert installers follow strict safety protocols when installing Levno gear on fuel tanks.
 
Our patented fuel sensor is IECEx certified intrinsically safe technology, for use on petrol, diesel or oil tanks. We are the only company in Australasia to hold this certification.

The transceiver is located at a minimum 5m distance from the fuel tank for safety.
